第一間分店選擇於檳城人稱新市鎮的峇央峇魯 (Bayan Baru)的辦公區。鑑於地段特點，店鋪面積較小，所以裝修以外賣式的櫃面為主，而餅櫃陳設為次主題，仍舊保有名香泰一貫的懷舊風格。由於消費群多為辦公職員，所以提供的服務也偏向以優惠配套為營銷策略。
The first branch is located in the business district of Bayan Baru, a new town of Penang. Due to the location, the shop lot is smaller in dimension and is renovated with the primary goal of providing take-away sales in mind and pastries cabinet displays taking a secondary place in renovation theme, the shop nevertheless retains the same old charm as typical of Ming Xiang Tai's signature style. Also due to the fact that the customer base comprises mainly of office workers. The sales service and strategy employed here is to provide differentiated sales offers to the customers.
